PHOTOGRAPHY - Other than his general photography work, René has been recognized for having a unique ability to capture dance action photography. Rene's interest in dance stems from growing up in the Los Angeles, CA. area in the '70s & '80s where, working as a dance club Disc Jockey, he witnessed the birth of Hip-Hop and got his "fifteen minutes of fame" appearing on the nationally syndicated TV series "Soul Train" as a featured dancer for several years.

Rene’s dance action photography has been featured in local newspapers, national magazines and websites. His clients include dance studios, professional dance companies, choreographers, high school dance teachers, individual dance talent and event promoters in Texas and throughout the U.S.

He has held positions with CBS, FOX and NBC affiliate Television Stations where working with various clients, he gained REAL-WORLD experience and skills in Marketing, Advertising, Account Management, Sales, Promotions, Merchandising, Design, Media Buying, On-Air & Online Content Production, Communications, and Public Relations.

René has designed & developed online applications as well as multimedia promotions and sponsorships combining TV, Internet, Audio/Video streaming, email, and other media-- several of which received National attention.
